Wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on my plans to put a UV sterilizer on my tank.

210 DT, 40 gal sump
Vectra L2 return pump
Looking at adding Aqua UV 57 Watt
also going to add 2 Hydros flow meters after gate valves to monitor and tune flow

My goal here is to have the option to control the flow to the UV. Primary goal is algae control, but in the event I ever need to treat for parasites I want to be able to turn some Valves and tune it for parasites.

If you're at the point where you're going to have two return nozzles in your tank why not just have two return pumps? Keep one strictly water and use the other one for the UV filter.

I already have two return nozzles running off the one pump, I’ve thought about it, sump is getting tight and there are still a couple things on the horizon I want to cram in there.
