I’m in the middle of upgrading my current setup of a 36 gallon bow front with sump to a WaterBox 130.4.

I’m trying to figure out what equipment I can move over and I can’t decide on what to do about my uv sterilizer.

I’m currently using a 15W Aqua Ultraviolet 2000+ with a have spout. According to their site, it’s good up to 75 gallons. Since I’ll be upgrading to a tank with a total volume of 127 gallons, I figured I had two options.

1. Get a whole new uv that’ll support the tank.

2. Get another 2000+ and run them both.

I’m leaning towards option 2 because it’s more budget friendly and I can hang the sterilizers on both sides of the tank. But I wanted to get other options before making a final decision.

What I did is keep the existing one and got a higher rated one and run both LOL.
No issues happening so far, no dinos or ich for a while too (knock on wood)
