Can you hang the aqua ultraviolet hob one on the sump? Or can that part of it come off and you can hook a hose barb to it?

They have two models - one is a hangar and the other a barb. The one you can hang off the sump (and the hangar also acts as the output) but the other needs a bracket to hold it and has two barbs for input/output.
