My grouper had severe Finrock to his tail down to the meat. I treated the tank and stopped the fin. Rod will my grouper tail regenerate and currently right now he is not eating. He stayed hiding in the rocks for the first two weeks now he’s back out, perched on the roof rock Any tips

What can I do
As long as the damage isn't too severe your grouper should regenerate its tail. However a fish medic will be on soon too evaluate your situation further.

This picture will not help as i need to see the tail in entirety. Sounds to be aggression damage and if/when severe has risk of infection. Please post video of fish.
Is fish breathing normal or labored?
