Valentini Puffer Fish

Okay, so I need some help please. I recently purchased a valentini puffer which I put in my tank on Friday (9/12). He was added to a tank with CUC, 2 clowns, and a yellow watchman goby. He seemed completely fine at first but by Saturday night he was swimming erratically at times and laying in rocks at other times. On Sunday morning he was dead. I will include some photos to see if anyone has ideas. This is the 2nd valentini I have lost. All water parameters were in check at the time.

So very sorry! When you say you "put [it] in my tank", what is your acclimation procedure?-- especially making sure the salinity matches your tank?

so maybe I need to be doing more? I tested my salinity which was perfect but I did not test the water it was in from the LFS. I did float the bag for an hour to match temp. One of my buddies thought it looked like it developed bloat and maybe couldn't get it out?

Were these local fish store (LFS) purchases, or online purchases?

So if they came from an LFS, you probable observed that the fish you bought at least 'looked' healthy/ swimming normally. But do I correctly see from a previous post that you believe your tank came down with Velvet in the past? And now you've lost the two Puffers in short succession? If so, you may continue to lose fish unless you go fallow. Do an R2R search on "fallow" tanks and find a tutorial.

Sorry, I should have stated this one is in a different tank. The tank I initially had the issue with multiple fish has been dosed with copper and I am currently in the process of removing the copper.
