Valentini puffer

Its a crap shoot -- Mine was, but I have read many stories from other that they like to nip at corals. So what you have read is kinda what you can expect... You arent going to know until you add them. :)

Nope! I always say no puffer is reef-safe! Some may get lucky for various reasons but not many. They are poop machines, love to munch on inverts, and are super curious and like to wander/bite things like coral.

Hit or miss. I am lucky, have had my valentini several years and she has never touched a coral (LPS and softy tank plus a couple of montipora and birds nest). Snails are not always so lucky, and decorative tube worms or clams are not possible. It is definitely a risk, be prepared to accept the carnage or rehome the puffer.
