Hi all

My buddy’s ecotech vectra l2 keeps randomly shutting down every so many days for no apparent reason. A quick power cycle and it’s right back to working normal for a few more day. No error lights to my knowledge on the controller. Have 3 of these pumps my self and never experienced this phenomenon. Before I go try to help him diagnose, curious if anyone else has experienced.

The L2 I had was pretty solid and I haven't any issues.
I would suggest your friend maybe use a different outlet, or replace it. See if it's the power source?

I would also have your friend contact ETM, see if there is support still there to be had.

My L2 just started doing this as well.

What I noticed was that I had swapped out the L2 for a backup… I kept the same controller, just swapped out the L2 motor. So I don’t know if it’s not communicating correctly due to not having the right controller or what. It’s very strange.

That turned out to be some what the issue. In this case it turned out to be the actual power pack in the end.

I ended up doing a restart from within the app, and so far no more outages. So I think there was some sort of miscommunication with the controller.
