Just picked up my male, 2 females on backorder. So far so good. He made it overnight and seems to be fine. Picking algae off the back of the tank so that appears to be a good sign. I auto feed pellets twice during the day and feed a nice hearty mix at night of frozen food. My trio of bimaculatus love it and are super healthy so i am hoping the ventrialis will follow. I keep my tank at 76 and from my readings that should be suitable for the new addition. He still has yet to color up so i will give it a little time and keep ya'll posted. He currently resides in a 280 and has plenty of swimming room, rocks to hide in and lower light areas to be happy in. So far he likes to hide in the rocks a lot but from what i have read that is normal for the first week or two.

The Ventralis Anthias is one of the most beautiful fish! They can be difficult. Keeping your tank at 76 is great. The Ventralis Anthias should be the only type of Anthias in the tank.
