vertex or bubble king .....help

So ive been waiting for the vertex alpha cone 300 to come back out for the last year ive owned the 200 before and love the skimmer very well built and well worth them money the alpha 200 was on my old system which was 250 gallons .I now have 450 gallons with a heavy bioload .and I dont know how much longer I am willing to wait for the alpha 300 to come back out so I am thinking about going with the bubble king supermarine 250 or 300 .what would u guys do .a few people ive spoke to recommended the bubble king 250 so that were im leaning towards now

I have the bk 300 delux internal, love this skimmer!!! However I urge u to wait till they open up shop in Florida later this year, my pump on my skimmer went bad and I have had a horrible time along with horrible service from bubble king! It's just too hard to deal with them all the way over in Germany. I paid for a whole new pump , and every spare part just so I'd have them if anything goes wrong. It's been like 43 days and still nothing and I'm skimmer less :/ I hope this helps you.....

The BK 250 internal on my tank has been running for seven years straight with no problems and the inside of the pump looks brand new still. I have a 360 total gallons with a VERY heavy bioload.

Acrononomis call premium aquatics I spoke with jeremy yesterday and asked him about the part situation saying I have heard there very hard to deal with and get parts for he told me not anymore premuim aquatics is now the us representitive and distributor so maybe they will be able to help u out worth a shot bro .there customer service is usually awsome

I'm right around 350-385gal, I've been dealing with Scott at aquarium specialty, and Torsten directly in Germany... It's just been a hot lie situation when u pay this much for a skimmer. I reccomend u go with the bigger skimmer if u have the room bro, u never know when u wanna upgrade tanks!

No , I found on aquarium specialty website the list all the skimmers and the instruction an maitence manuals... I believe it would tell u the gallons it's rated ...
