So thanks to everyone f by the apexor th e warm welcome, here I will document my tank and progress.
So I currently have a 75g display with a mix of live and DIY dry rock. Mixed sand bed. I run a DIY under sand jet to help keep things from setting and it also provides a little bit of fluidized bed action. there is a fluvial canaster filter. Two jebao powerheads utilizing torx's guide I got them hooked up and controlled from the apex with a cable I made. The tank is not drilled and uses a DIY overflow from PVC with an aqua lifter to help maintain prime. As for lights I have two black boxes that have been modified. I added for UV 3w LEDs to each unit to help improve spectrum. They are also controlled by the apex with the help of an custom arduino I built to convert the apex's 0-10v signal to a pwm signal that the lights use. As for a sump I built it from a 20h and cut my own glass baffles. Fug light is a 300w ufo.
With cheato and some red ogo. Sand rock rubble, and bio blocks are in as well. Running a modified counter current skimmer and a 120gph uv. The return pump is also a jebeao dc pump. As things progress change and so forth I will update. Pic are some what crappy as I'm waiting for a new camera to come in. But here are some anyway.

Welcome to the insanity! That's definitely a big way to jump in... First and foremost though, please find a different spot for that power strip that you have sitting right next to the sump, and your canister. That's a very, very, bad place for it to be.
