Very stupid of me

So I have some aiptasia in my tank. Noticed one sitting on the overflow return nozzle (which is not removable.) Ordered Joe's Juice and figuring "Hey this is safe, instructions only talk about aiptasia and mojito, so no problem," dosed it on the aiptasia. And then it hit me that I have a Bubble Tip Anemone in my tank! It immediately closed up. I hope I didn't kill it, it's been a well behaved anemone. Obviously my stupidity for not thinking about it, but frankly, Joe's Juice should have a big warning on there: "Hey morons if you got an anemone in your tank, don't use this."

I have used a needle with hydrogen peroxide injected into Aptasia biomass. No problem for BTA next to it.

How did Joes juice work on Aptasia and how much liquid did you use in what size system.

The syringe Joe's Juice provides is a disaster. It was leaking, so stuff was flying all over the tank (40 gallons.) The Aiptasia seems dead. The Bubble Tip is partially closed. I'm hoping for the best and will reassess tomorrow. The Juice white particles were definitely floating floating around the tank.

All products like AiptasiaX, Aip-Away, Elimi-Aiptas, and Joe's Juice will hurt any coral on contact. Not only anemones.

Usually the instructions say to keep the flow off for something like 20 minutes until the treated aiptasia is dissolved and the product lost some of it's potency or hardened enough to not float around. If you want to be extra careful you can siphon off excess liquid after the treatment so the product doesn't spread throughout the tank once the flow is turned back on.

Anemones are pretty robust and if your parameters are good, it will probably recover

For products like Joes Juice and home made kalk paste, I will turn off all flow in the tank, return pumps included. Let the water come to a stand still.
Apply the product and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Obviously if there are corals near the aiptasia or under them you have to be very careful.
Then take a syphon hose ( I use my python water change hose) and suck out all traces of the product from the spot you applied it. This will help keep damage from free floating product to other places in the tank.
For an aiptasia on a return nozzle or other smooth surfaces, I use a paper towel and carefully wipe the offending aiptasia off, applying enough pressure to make sure you get all of it.

BUT the Rock Flower anemone remained open the whole time so I didn't think it was affected, however, it did not move when I fed it. And this is what it looks like. The mouth is gaping open, it looks like.

I use Joes juice in my tank and I have nems.

It is very important to turn all flow off (return and wavemakers) for 15-20mins while treating.

You don't want the product, or the dying aiptasia being blown around in the tank.

I've used it this way and I've not had any adverse effects on my nems.

That said, I think I would just leave it alone. Its probably expelling waste from its mouth, and otherwise looks okay/mildly irritated.

I find RFA's fickle, and if it is really damaged I don't think there's a lot you can do for it.

(Wow my water is pretty green. And what's with the green algae on the rocks?)

I just offered it some bronze brine shrimp and it did respond a little. So I have hope. (If it was dead, I'd rather remove it than have it keep decaying in the tank, of course.)

Both anemones looking better today. I'm very relieved!! And now I've learned my lesson about reading instructions very carefully. (I guess I'm one of the reasons they include things like "Do not drink" on shampoo bottles.)

We've all made mistakes.

For the future running carbon after most mishaps can often help "clean up the mess", it is dependent on what it is, but its a nice tool to have in the tool chest.
