We decided the 220.6 is the best fit so my 5ft 0in butt can take care of it myself if need be. Want the LX but due to him probably needing surgery, the bigger tank is not doable right now. 220 is still huge and I can still get my naso
I wish @Veteran Reefer all the best on his surgery

Just think about it really good before you pull the trigger on the tank. I understand that he will be going through surgery and all, amd depending on the type.of surgery it might be a speedy recovery and then regret not getting the tank you originally wanted.

Best of luck!

It will be back surgery so they said 6+ months recovery. Hopefully it's less but the 220 will fit perfectly in the spot we have. Do we want the larger tank? Of course. Will it fit in the area we have for a tank? Not with room to do maintenance honestly. I think it's the better option, unfortunately. We will be happy from a 32 biocube to this.

As long as you're both happy with it, now and after so then all is good.

I hope that the tank comes soon for y'all and will be following your build.

Got about 160lbs of caribsea life rock, 160 lbs of sand, nios quantum 220, control board, 8 bio bricks, all the tubing that will be for auto water changes, 2 rfg's, 2 500W heaters, and a set of GLO frag racks @Reefing Mama wanted all on the way.

Plus waiting to come in from the LFS: 4 xr15 blues, another mp40, 16 OZ bottle of turbostart, screen and barb kit for the vectras

Still need to source 2 65 gallon vertical water tanks and a lid so the wrasses don't jump and will need another energy bar for our neptune system

Last thing on the list to get will be the fuge light after the tank is cycled. Debating the grow or prime fuge. Thoughts??

My GRO light is sitting in a box collecting dust ATM, but a tried and true Marco grower is the Kessil H380.

That light will grow whatever you throw at it.

I can't seem to get my hands on one anywhere. They are sold out everywhere I look.
