[VIDEO] - Episode 13 - DOSING

Your corals are growing, intaking your alkalinity, calcium and magnesium, lowering the elements in your tank. You’ve entered the Dosing Zone. In this episode, we’ll walk you through the process of dosing your tank and explain why it’s important for you to keep dosing, even once you hit your target levels. Need help calculating the right amount? Check out our Reef Calculator to Figure Out How Much Dosing is Needed!

► Pro Tips

1. Aim for these ranges:
- Alkalinity – 7-11 dKH
- Calcium – 400 – 480 ppm
- Magnesium – 1150 ppm

2. Avoid Snapback. Dose a fraction of the amount needed slowly overtime.
