Started doing vinegar and currently on week 2. For the past three days my skimmer must be turned almost completely down or it will run over the top of the cup. Also getting micro bubbles for the first time. Been keeping reefs for almost 30 years, but new to this area. Tank is a 250 g , with 40 g sump and 30 g grow out. Ca is 435, alk 8.1, mg 1450, po4 .08, no3 is 10. Trying to drop the po4 and no3 because I am planning on adding some more fish from a 90 that my mother had that is being broken down. Skimmer is a Bubble King SM250

Do I keep dosing or hold off a few days?

I'm not sure it has anything to do with the vinegar but it might if certain bacteria are producing materials that impact the skimmer.

Stopping for a few days, see if it stops, then trying a restart is a fine plan.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
