I have, in the past kept Mandarins with my lion fish. Was this a fluke? I am setting up a new tank and really want to mix the two.

Yes that was a fluke, and I would ask for how long?

Well over a year..... A Mandarins mucus contains toxins so I had just assumed the Lion picked up on this. He never really messed with them. I also got the lion when he was very small so maybe he just never made the food/fish connection with the Mandarins.
