AQUASHELLA seeks volunteers thru DFWMAS - ideally Saturday

Biggest need is setup Friday and during show Saturday & Sunday, ideally 5 hours but they'll give you free admission, lunch and t-shirt. Check them out at: https://www.aquashella.com/volunteers (and mention DFWMAS)

DFWMAS newsletter is how I heard Aquashella Dallas coming to town - exciting!

DFWMAS provided small army of volunteers to Aquashella, and as a result Aquashella said by far this event was their most successful check-in process ever! Cool to have been part of history making! "Many hands lightens the load" - unknown

In addition to staffing booth DFWMAS (Dallas Fort Worth metroplex Marine Aquarium Society), those dfwmas affiliated volunteers that helped Aquashella directly with check-in, line management, swag distributions, some even did light security were given fun staff t-shirts.

At end of show, some vendors donated items to club so next few upcoming dfwmas frag swap raffles should be AMAZING! While nothing finalized regarding dates & locations, heard trying for 2-3 a year - dfwmas upcoming frag swap events:

• Feb/March in central metroplex
• June/July in NE metroplex (Collin County, maybe McKinney or maybe Allen)
• check their website or FB periodically for other events & bus tours resuming
  • noticed some info on website and some on FB; sure trying their best but never hurts to check both as this year just checking 1 is how I missed Coral Fest
  • everyone is human, grace should be given - I always like and appreciate grace lol !!

Monthly dfwmas meetings went virtual because of COVID. Some zoom club meeting guest speakers' informative trainings and experiences were recorded. Upcoming 'Show Your Tank' November dfwmas club meeting will not be recorded.
