One of my two Vortech MP40w's wetsides is making a rattling noise no matter how I adjust, turn, calibrate, etc....but only at certain speeds. As it's reving up or down and hits that certain, mid-range speed, it starts rattling, then stops again when it's either going high speed or low. However, it is still functioning perfectly and has been this way for about a month. The other unit is dead silent.
Anyone had a similar problem and, if so, have you been able to figure out a fix or am I hearing bad bearings or ceramic ring and a breakdown is inevitable? Just wondering if there's hope for it or if I should order a backup wetside now so I have it when it finally goes.....
