Well, I figured I'd start a build thread here since I'm constantly modify the crap out of BC29 and I thought I'd share a little. I know most of it isn't "ground breaking" or anything, but it's still cool.....a little ha!

So here is is with the hood removed after installing a Kessil a360we.

Inside the cabinet after adding a sump and overflow:

Skimmer is a Skimz SN123 that I just got and added yesterday (replaced a Deepwater Aquatics HOB). Just running GFO now but switching it out for a combo of GFO and carbon this weekend.
Had some algae issues that really did a number on some of my acans, so trying to get them healed back up.

LOL, no kidding!

Thanks! The tank's starting to come back around now. Had a nasty bout with cyano that covered everything faster than I could siphon it out. I'm still not 100% certain what caused it, but adding the sump/overflow and removing the HOB refugium seems to have helped tremendously. It's almost undetectable now, but the damage is done.....starved out some of my acan colonies and damaged a couple of smaller ones. Other corals and my larger colonies are rockin' now though.....so I guess it all worked out in the end.

Ok, so moved all, well most, of the electronics over to a little stand/cabinet I set next to the tank. Here's how it looks now (little roomier):
