Big polyp blasto loves the shade. A colony in the sun will never be as fluffy as one in a cave. If you have very bright lighting you can guarantee your blasto will not look like it should.

They eat like most Lps and require standard reef parameters. Some will branch; others will make more of encrustation or a mound. The one thing in common is they all look amazing under actinic lighting.
