Hello all,
I’m in the market for new lighting. I really like the idea of a single panel light- specifically I am looking at the Reef Breeders photon 24.
My current tank is 30x24x18, mostly sorties with a few LPS.
Is this too much light for this tank? If so, does anyone have recommendations for a panel type light that would be more appropriate in a similar price range?

I *plan* on eventually going with a larger (75-90G) tank in the future-but…

Thanks!

So this is about 35 gallons? The light is 140 watts, perhaps a little bit overpowered but I think its still a good size light for the tank. I have a 100 watt on my 32 gallon set at 75%. Personally I would go for it, and I would start off at about 70% and then adjust depending how the corals react (or rent a par meter)
