I bought a nano skimmer off Amazon for yall. It’s been working fine for a year and all of a sudden stopped working. I took it apart and cleaned it. I took out the magnet and cleaned and everything. Still nothing. It vibrates once a second and spins barely every time it vibrates. I have a warranty.

Not sure you'll get a response here. I believe IOAOI is a sponsor but they'll never see this thread because they aren't even mentioned or tagged. I would see if you can reach out to them directly or through Amazon. FWIW I have that skimmer no longer in use and more than once I had to tap on the motor to get it to start.

PS It looks like you purchased a 3rd party warranty which surely isn't going to see anything here. I would start a claim using the button in image you posted which means start a claim on Amazon

Commenting to follow along. I bought the same skimmer that died in the same way, but only lasted about 6 months. I still haven't replaced, been busy with life but was looking at an IceCap K1-50 or maybe a nano to take its place. Trying to get a skimmer into my return chamber of my SR60 is a bit of a challenge.

Asurion will give you an Amazon gift card credit for the purchase price within 15 minutes of you submitting a claim.

I always buy the 3 or 4 year warranty for 10 bucks and it’s paid for itself many times over.

Thanks man. That solved my problem and was able to talk to a live agent and get my full refund back! Now to order a new skimmer!
