I been debating on getting a Wartskin Angler for my fish only tank can anyone give me any input on care and how they get along with other and does it eat frozen food such as chunks of shrimp etc. Thanks

The short answer; they do best in a species tank and do best being fed a live diet. Very iffy they will take dead food at all and do not live long on a dead food only diet. They do best alone and any tank mates have to chosen carefully; they can and will eat anything up to their own size and because of their sedentary lifestyle can be picked on. Any injuries almost assuredly end up with a bacterial infection and death.

Thanks for the input

Also they tend to live very short lives when kept as pets

Lots of people report losses out of nowhere within a year. I suspect it is due to poor diet since oftentimes these animals don't show any symptoms you would associate with disease before death. If I was to try keeping one I would probably feed the greatest variety of live food items possible.
