Water blaster 5000 or 7000

I'm looking at replacing my return pump.
Let me get yalls opinion on which pump I should use(water blaster 5000 or 7000)
I have a 180 gallon mixed reef with left and right corner over flows with a 36 gallon sump
I would also like to plumb in my gfo reactor with this pump also. I know I'll have to throttle it down to do this.
Let's hears yalls opinions!!

I'm not crazy about either one. They are not pressure rated pumps and their flow drops off quickly with head. Here are the head loss graphs on both pumps.

If you're stuck on one of these two pumps, I'd go with the 7000.

I would go for one of the DC pumps......quite, controlable, low energy consumption. More specifically, I'd most likely go for the Jebao DCT 12000 pump for you're 180 gallon DT. Here's the headloss for three of the Jebao's pumps

I do hear people say there having trouble with the jeboao dc pumps only after a year or so. This comes from more than on forum. What your thought on that?

Try deepwater dc pumps. They are higher quality pumps that are low in power consumption rate and high in flow output.

Or fluval sp pumps. Those are nice too.

No issues with my jaebo DC 9000. Been running for about 1.5 yrs.

I love my WaterBlaster HY-5000. I think like many reputable manufacturers, the pump curve is very conservative and they actually do handle head very well. If you are thinking about a constant speed pump that is efficient I would highly recommend them.
