What would you use? I made a large acrylic sump I plan to use a bulk head of some sort and run a house directly out my garage for draining hopefully with a ball valve. Since it is a deep sump which I mean to use as a settling chamber for detritus, the bulk head needs to be low so I can push detritus to it as it drains. But the exact thread to hose to ball valve and out is what I'm looking for help with. It would need to be flexible hose, maybe even vinyl tubing as I also want to use it for quarantine filling.

If you get a bulkhead with either a threaded or slip fitting you can attach vinyl hose to it with an adapter. How much room around the sump do you have for it to stick out?

I made a manifold off the return pump plumbing that has a ball valve and 3/4" hose barb attachment. I do my WC's through it by pumping directly into Brut can or toilet and could easily fill up a QT or ??? with it as well.

Cheers, Todd

I have as much room as I could need, it's in my garage and I can place the hole wherever it needs to be.

If anyone has a good online site to order this stuff from, all the ones I use seem to only have half of what I need.

I would get a bulkhead from either Amazon or bulk reef supply. Get one that is slip/slip. Depending on how hast you want to drain the water I would go with a 3/4 inch. The vinyl tubing also isn't too expensive at this size. Then you would just need some pic pipe to connect the bulkhead to a ball valve and from the ball valve to a 3/4 slip/threaded adapter and then a 3/4 threaded/barb adapter, and from there the vinyl tubing. I couldn't find the slip/threaded adapter online, but if you ask someone at the store they can point you to it.
