Water circulation

I have been looking for circulation pump. While at petco they had an aqueon biocube pump on big time clearance plus I had a gift cert.
At first when I put it in it seemed to much power. But at 250 gph I don't think it gets much smaller. Can't tell yet if clowns like it or not. Are there any pumps that have less power. Suggestions please. Thanks

I have a zoo med pump that is just 55 gph so yes they do make smaller pumps
