And what I mean by this is that I have a smaller separate tank that I house 2 Black Ocellaris in and I would like to add a BTA for them (hopefully they appreciate it). Does the water quality have to be as strict as in my mixed reef tank? My Nitrates are a bit higher in this tank as I am not running a skimmer but the fish are in wonderful condition. If I have to reduce my nutrient load I would like to do it before adding any nem to the tank. It is a 20 gal. tank and receives .75 gal water change daily and is cleaned through a canister filter sized for a 75 gal tank. as well as a HOB filter.

Here's a website and I would not try until your setup is at least six months old and stable.

Read the headers tabs (across the top) and the more tab is handy too.
