Ha, that's awesome.. One of the most basic things that's been studied for years. (and we still don't know it all! :D )
 
The strangeness and uniqueness of water has a big future in our potential freshwater limited future.

Using 2 of the 70 anomalies of water to get water (interesting thing is more anomalies have been found since this video, first post...water is weird lol)


Using water to get water and energy
 
I found this lecture facinating. How water helps fold protiens which is necessary for life to form. It's the only solution we know of that can do this. Of course we don't know all the answers to the why's.

FWIW, the chemistry professor that did that peroxide work, was my freshman chemistry professor at Stanford. I liked that class a lot!
