Hello, I purchased a waterbox 100.3 from brs and it arrived yesterday. I got everything moved into the new tank when I found it was time to do the plumbing. The return bulkhead would not fully tighten down onto the return hose piece and got stuck together. When trying to separate the barbed fitting broke apart and now I have no way to use the sump. I have a few questions.

I read that waterbox may not send replacement parts if the tank was not purchased directly from them and this is extremely frighting to me because I have no idea how I’m going to use the tank. Has anyone had luck with getting replacement parts even though they bought from somewhere like brs?

I went to my LFS with all the plumbing and we could not construct a way to make new piping because of the imperial sizing. Has anyone made their own return piping? If so what did you make it with? TIA

Contact BRS and Waterbox.
Both contacted, just gotta painfully wait until Monday. I’m just extremely nervous that I’m going to get a no from other threads I’ve read on here

Wasn't the tank running with the plumbing in place before you moved everything into the new tank?

I contacted waterbox, they shipped me a new bulk head overnight for free :D
Same thing has happened to us with our 100.3 and the bulkhead not fully tightening.. waterbox customer service was pretty good with sending out the replacement part?
