23rd July 2020

Half of the corals moved over to new tank.

24th July 2020

The rest of the corals moved.

Fish acclimated.

Fish put into new tank.

Flame angel was not happy being moved. Lying on it side at bottom of acclimation container. Ok now he’s in new tank.

Yellow tail damsel was a so and so to catch from the 40 gallon and again from the acclimation tank.

Couldn’t see the Blue Star Leopard Wrasse when I was catching fish in the 40 gallon. Thought it may have jumped while the mesh lid was off. Started running my fingers through the sand bed and found him/her. Lifted it out without a struggle from it. Hope it’s ok. I guess it’s hidden in the sand in the new tank as I can’t see it. Was Usually out in the open in 40 gallon.

So far all the others seem ok.

I will try to post a video. Hope it uploads and works. Let me know. Oops it says video is too large. Any ideas how to upload please?

Hoping to see some coral growth as it looks pretty bare in the bigger tank.

just making up salt water so that I can do a water change maybe this weekend. My skimmer is being a pain to tune in.

Update to 130.4
5th September 2020

in the last month I’ve fitted the K link cable to join the lights so both on the same program.
The skimmer took a while to tune in and now seems to be more consistent.
ATO fitted and keeping water levels steady.
Algae reactor fitted and fed from tapping into return pipe. Growing Chaeto well. Picture shows after nearly two weeks, from a small piece in each section.
Some corals moved around and growing well.
Four new fish - 2 purple firefish and two springeri damsels.

Hi. Fishy guy. Hope you are keeping healthy and safe. It’s coming on fine thanks. A bit of algae still. Pulls off the rocks and equipment easily. It’s sort of dark brown. Looks black and slimy when I pull it out. Bought a Tomini Tang yesterday. Hopefully it might get a taste for keeping my algae under control.
How’s your tank doing?

Hi folks. Moving from my aqua one 180 litre. Will use that one for quarantine or frags. Or maybe keep a couple of clowns.

New tank and a lot of the equipment is from Reef Lounge Aquatics. Excellent support and advice throughout the journey from Karim (many thanks).
