Sounds good! How are you liking the Hydros controller? It seems like alot of people are switching over becuase Neptune Apex doesnt really have great hardware (Low Quality) but their software is good.

i picked up 4 of them. Kalk, CaRx and 2 for AWC. its been a bit of a challenge to get the AWC to work.

The Soles cant be used with the AWC profile. I have mine setup on a dosing schedule but kept getting excess water in my sump for testing. it seems like its a calibration issue. It seems to be working as of now but it will only change about 2 gallons. I have been trying for a 4 gallon AWC and stops way short of for gallons. I have been working with Support.

That’s frustrating. In all their videos it said it would work with it. Is it not available for choice when setting it up?

Support is telling me that they need to be set as a constant on and have a dependency set. that can be done by creating a virtual outlets as well but there is no way to call it to active in a schedule!

it wont work that way. i think it will show the collective broken or offline I am expecting a call from support today. Ill let you know how it goes. They are supposed to work for AWC so.

So bazar because they marketed it towards using it that way. Frustrating I guess I will return them

I think that it will work. I have gotten it to work using a dosing schedule. but I'm sure they will get it working

OK EVERYONE I have a big update for all and i was saving to do this all at once.

I just finished a major project with my tank / qt setup / hydros / water change station and its all made my life super easy as far as maintenance goes. It took me a little more than a week and a lot of planning to get this project done. I still have a few software tweaks with hydros but its really working well.

I built a bonnet for the tank so it hides the water gap and blocks some extra light in the room. Added 2 more dosers on the hydros and now am dosing ESV A/B, ESV Mag, and ESV Trace. Added in a algae scrubber on a custom cnc polycarbonate mount, which also holds a 2.5in filter sock for the reactor.

Everything was re-plumbed with all ceepex valves and a lot of flex PVC to reduce the amount of 90's for better flow. UV got an upgrade to 40W, I added a tradewind chiller, and a geo kalk reactor (which I still need to setup)

The hydros got expanded to the basement with 3 soles and a few other modules, I also added a 470AH Epoch battery with a victron charger to keep it charged for the kracken backup, The system can run for hours and hours on that battery.

I also added a co2 scrubber which the intake is plumbed outside.

The 2 50 gallon tanks got installed and is plumbed up to the tank. I also plumbed a drain into the utility sink for draining the tank and also a Y valve setup so I Can save the water if needed.

Im hoping to get the AWC set up soon and hopelfully a Maven would be nice.
