I’ve been running my skimmer to keep gas exchange up but I have the cup off and have gotten my nitrate up to 15 and my phosphate is .05

Realized my tank is turning one this week so I snagged some photos haven’t posted any pictures in a while due to my Dino outbreak followed by gha that I let out compete my Dino’s. In my battle with Dino’s my phosphate got up to .4 and nitrates in the 50s. But now that i have gotten back on my water change schedule they are down to .1 and 20 and things are starting to look good again I celebrated by buying a frag on pc rainbow. I’m considering pulling my bta as it has a habit of moving to where ever I plant any sps and I have caught the stick bug. I have seen plenty of clowns hosting gonis which is why I bought the bta so I may just pull it and sell it or return it to my lfs. Does anyone have experience with their bta moving less once hosted?

I recently bought a hydros x4 and I am loving it. Since I’ve bought it we have been staying at my in-laws as they are in town so it’s crazy to see the ph with just dosing afr. I have been having a high of 8.4 and a low of 8.29. I’ve been dosing kz fws as well and since starting my miyagi tort has been encrusting nicely. I also made some changes to my light shade to make it as slim as possible and not blindly wife and I as our tank is in a loft. After putting it back on the tank was way brighter so I have been running a 3 week acclimation on the light. I have 3 days left and my bta has one tentacle that bubbled back up. So fingers crossed they will all go back to being bubbles like when I bought it. Also my orchid dottyback lays eggs that my clowns quickly eat every month or so. So things must be going well and free food

May have went a little over board at the wwc live sale this weekend I was visiting my brother in laws at their college for parents weekend. Not the best combo for my bank account. Probably going to have to get creative with placement. But I finally got a jf fire starter that I always wanted. Along with a bunch of other sps

Haven’t posted in while but my tank is turning 2. I need to start removing my btas so I can add more coral. Wish my female clown wasn’t hosted by the btas so I could remove them entirely and add a bunch more coral. They find a way to sting all my new corals. I have a miyagi tort that is looking amazing that’s tucked behind my birdsnest to protect it that I would love to showcase. I have a softie 4g tank that I may upgrade the light and transfer my btas and female clown to to free up space

The tank is looking great.
I feel your pain on the nems. I started with one little one and now I have 15 I didn’t ask for. Get em out while you can :grinning-face:
