Tank is looking good mate, would you be able to show where the MP40 is to see if it fits next to the overflow box?
Thinking of getting one of these tanks for myself but need those MP40's to fit.
Many thanks mate
They fit perfectly, even with a nem guard! Honestly think water box did it like that on purpose. Basically invisible.

Was hoping to avoid the cost of a skimmer. But my Nitrate is hovering around 20, which isn't terrible but my phosphates are steady at .2 so I decided to get the Hydor DC, obviously just plugged it in so no review yet, but it comes assembled and the DC pump and drain hose are super convenient features.

Also a hermit crawled into the goby/pistol hole today. Pistol unloaded the cylinder on it. Serves it right for pummeling my coral and then messing with the pistol.

We have success! After my first coral got pummeled by hermits and then eaten by the Aiptasia fish I took some precautions. The Aiptasia fish lasted all of 20 minutes before it went after it so it now resides in my QT tank until I can re-home him. Such a cool looking fish, it is a real shame to have to take him out of the tank, but corals are the point of all this so oh well. I also went back to my trusted shop and so the plug wasn't covered in a year's worth of algea so the hermits and snails weren't interested.

Got me another coral, really nice Acan Micromusa or whatever they call them these days, finally got my second Radion, my control board is officially full, and oh yeah, my yellow watchman goby decided it wants to be white ever since I got the pistol.

Lucked into some utter chaos at my LFS. Everywhere I look online these are like $50 PER POLYP. I got this piece which I counted about 14 polyps for ONLY $45!!!!! I guess they like me. Haha. Also picked up a nice Blasto but it's still chilling on it's ugly frag plug, once I find it's final spot I'll post a pic.

Here is the Blasto

Apparently my fuge is doing too good of a job as my nitrates have dropped from 22 down to 13 over the last few weeks and my phosphate from .13 to .01. With the phosphate that low I decided to not do a water change this week. My alk was also up to 8 and with the low bio-load I'm not worried about replenishing it beyond what the Kalk does.

All the corals are really thriving, with the exception of my micromusa which got ticked off about something and has been pretty shrunken for about a month. Can't imagine it was me adding Kalk. My Phos was low so I started dosing it and it's back to normal, still no luck. The only other thing I thought was that the goby and pistol moved in and the pistol kept throwing sand on it so I moved it to it's very own rock and out the rock right under the mp40 so its got low flow and low light. Still not happy. Oh well, we will see.

In other news I got some new goodies while I'm waiting for ever for my black storm clowns to clear my LFS's qt.

Conch, to combat the relentless diatoms on my thick sandbed, this guy is a lawn mower working overtime. Then today got an urchin to work on any algea the Trocus leave behind. And lastly got this amazing Red Goni! The lights screw up the pics but it is a Rich Red color. Ignore the before mentioned relentless diatoms in the pics.

Been a while since an update. Good and bad news.

Bad news....the 2 micromussa polyps bailed. I don't know why. I moved them, I got the phosphate back up, I dipped them and they were happy again then all of a sudden one of them bails. The other one actually starts to puff up more after this then all of a sudden it bails. And now my Goni is suddenly short and stocky I stead of long and wavy. So I took it out and dipped it today. I also have an ICP test getting analyzed and rented a par meter just in case somehow the sanded is crazy high par, but everything else is thriving and loving life. Fingers crossed.

So the good news! My Storm Troopers and Flasher finally cleared quarantine! WooooooooHooooooo. I also got a Royal Gramma. The Storms we're out and about immediately, the other 2 took about 30 minutes but all of them are out and happy and all ate a good meal!

Also looks like 2 of my Chromis paired up and laid eggs.

So when I went to turn in the rented par meter at my LFS I realized they overcharged me a bit on the clowns, it was a hectic order, no big deal. While I was there I saw this guy and so I ended up only paying $9 with the amount I got overcharged being used for it. Immediately happy and not shy at all in The tank!

Nice setup
BTW, is it possible to remove socks holders in the sump (without damaging) or they are glued?
The idea is to put a fleece filter instead of socks, I'm curious if it's possible

Hey how’s it going! Looking to get this exact tank, mind posting some more update pics of how the tank is holding up?
