Good afternoon ! Today is the start of hopefully a tank that will stay for a while. (3-5 years)

About us:
Saltwater fish have been a big desire of mine since Nemo ( of course ) when I was a kid, who didn’t. That’s why most are here.

My name is Gavin, I’m from Central Florida and about to turn 20 years old at the end of this month, I got recently married to my beautiful wife Rebeca and we have a Siberian Husky.

We found out a few months ago that we are expecting a boy in November!!

back to the fish:

i began my journey of reefing this year and I have learned a ton, I put all my little experience into this Redsea 200xl with my clownfish, yellow tang, sixline and cardinals and the Yellow Tang is my reason for the upgrade along with the wife wanting to fill up the house a little more ,

peninsula tanks make great room dividers !

Current stage:

The planning for the next tank and including equipment will follow, and I appreciate all feedback and tips!!

Any updates on this? Heavily considering this tank to upsize. Got a BIOTA yellow tang (tiny one) with the intent of rehoming after he got too big for my Nuvo 40. I like the fish so much I’m now looking at upsizing my entire system just so I don’t have to part ways

No updates just yet.
I decided to hold off a little longer and i might be going for the Redsea 650 instead as I want the extra width and 5’ would be perfect
