Hi, all is mostly ok around here. Here is a few updates: I had a algea bloom/tank neglect but its turning around slowly… All the corals are doing great except for the birds nest which is bleaching slowly over the past few weeks. The new wrasse fit into the tank wonderfully and is a great part of the ecosystem. I picked up a few things at bulk reef supply. Big thanks to them they did a great job of shipping it out on time and even earlier than it was supposed too. Ill heres some pics and cabinet clean out.

Ok this is way over due update. First off the coral, some have died because life happend... and the algae problem went bad to worse, BUT I finally after debating about getting reef flux I got some and It completely killed all the algae. Now I'm algae free but it did kill a few corals like the birds nest and a red acro. But my hammer grew from 8 heads to 20 in 2 months for whatever reason it hit its stride even with my neglect somehow I kept it alive. My sixline passes away from refusing to eat. Then I got a Melanurus Wrasse it was doing great but then one day it dissapeard. It was so disappointing I loved that wrasse had such a beautiful color. When I get home I will post pictures of the tank in its cleanest state in a while. I plan on taking a break from SPS because I dont think i can keep stability of alk and cal.

The tank is doing well, but the algae is showing its head a little bit to be expected ill back my feeding off and turn the skimmer up. My tank has been doing really well and I recently found a new LFS that is very helpful but he has very different ways of doing the hobby but it is nice to see other perspectives and see how I could improve. I added a green hammer, green birds nest, sour apple birds nest, a yellow scroll (what it was called in the store) and I fragged my space invader. I also added a maxspect 2k gyre. I run it at 10% output and 30% pulling on the gyre mode. The sour apple fell due to the hated urchin... the tips bleached that got in the sand.

Here are some pics for the few that view this:

This update is less of me being lazy more to just nothing has really happend . I can report I have taken strides against the wire monster and kept him at bay. I added a control section with some double sided tape for my gyro and ato controller. Hammers have been growing steadily and zoas are growing at insane rates. mushrooms have almost covered their rock and the gsp is spreading off the disk. I had some bubble algea and added 5 emerald crabs that took a liking to my hermits and my birds nests. I've never heard of them liking them but you know they have to go after my favorite corals. They didn't bother the red one which was good because it has grown a lot in the last few months. I'll post pictures when I get home.

Here is an update so I can enter into the t-shirt drawing.

Hammer is getting mad because I think trace elements are depleted due to no water changes in a few months. I did a water change and added some iodine.

Tank its doing good truckin along so to speak.
