what could have caused this. All sps and zoas look great. Other lps look okay too.

My alk was 9 two days ago. And just tested it and was 7 now. Could this be the problem?

I really loved that piece too
 
Alk dropping 2 points over night could definitely melt a chalice. Do you know what the level that it came from was? Did you acclimate the coral?
 
I had the coral for like 2 months. It was doing awesome. and it randomly died. I also just started dosing me polyp extender every other day too
