Can anyone check how many watts their xho led is using and what size bar? I’m finding conflicting info and BRS is wrong with the specs.

One "test"...
Wall watts aren't diode watts btw..
I have the 48" Actinic Blue XHO LED bar.

I had to send both of mine back because they slowly drift down to 41 watts.

I just got new ones back from the factory, one is reading a constant 57 watts and the other drifts down to about 45 watts.

Could it just be my Kill-A-Watt meter? What could explain this?

Another:
I just got a 50/50 48" XHO and hooked it up to a ups which has a Watt meter function built in, two separate ones to check them off each other because I wasn't sure how accurate they would be, but they both showed 64W. So if these results are accurate that would be almost 1.8W per LED.
1.5 to1.8W per LED would be sort of "normal" btw.

All depends on the manuf date, diodes, driver, type of array (constant current/constant voltage) and efficiency of output to determine what the "watts" means.
If you own one how many diodes and the output specs of the power supply/driver will help a little.

Specifications:

12 LEDs per foot

LED Wattage - 3w per LED (driven at approx 50%)

A 1:1 replacement of a t5 for a xho has sort of been proven by BRS regardless of the wattage..
Actually a bit confusing since diodes are probably series /parallel arrays.

Specifications:
12 LEDs per foot
LED Wattage - 3w per LED (driven at approx 50%)
Dimensions - 1.85" W x 1.1" H
Power Cord - >6ft

What's Included?
1x XHO LED Strip Fixture
1x Power Supply

Note:Mounting legs are included in the fixtures total length.

TECH Model (Older Model) XHO Model
Dimensions # of LEDs Wattage Length # of LEDs Wattage
8x1x1.75 6 9W x x x
12x1x1.75 6 9W x x x
15x1x1.75 6 9W 15 12 18W
24x1x1.75 12 20W 24 18 27W
30x1x1.75 18 30W 30 24 36W
36x1x1.75 18 30W 36 30 45W
48x1x1.75 24 37W 48 36 54W
60x1x1.75 30 45W 60 48 72W
72x1x1.75 36 54W 72 54 81w
****** confusing if you ask me.

2x 90W power brick --> RB Apex dimmer control --> Ch 1 split to 2x 30" Actinic Blue, Ch 2 split to 2x 30" 50/50 (All XHO, 32 led per bar)

@100%, 109 W
@0%, 5 W

Measured via apex. 5W must be the power to run the apex dimmer.

I tried some more combos in case the dimmer/ Y's are doing something:

2x actinic, 2x 50/50 109W
1x actinic, 1x 50/50 67W (alternate Y)

2x actinic same Y 57W
2x actinic alternate Y 66W
1x actinic 38W

Power supplies are rated for 90W each, so that is not limiting it. I am sure the intended way to run it would be 2x dimmers, but they are really expensive... and my thought was 2x 30" is less power than 1x 72" per channel.
