Can’t afford a Ecotech WaveMaker but was thinking about getting a reef power rpm WaveMaker. Basically the same as the coral box except it has 18 month warranty. It is for a 56 gal tall. Anyone have any experience with them or other suggestions? Was contemplating using a gyre style pump but am not sure. Gonna be mainly a lps softie tank.

I have the rpm wavemaker. I have not had any issues with it. It makes relatvily low noise for a pump of its size. The flow is dispersed very widely and doesn’t blast some areas as other pumps do. I also like the reverse function of the pump because I can clean detritus out of the dead spots in my tank every so often. Hope this helps!

If going gyre, may try 3K, by CoralVue. Why? Just ask my children of the sea or see....
No affiliation to the company, no stocks in the company, I own 2, that's all I know, not trying to push the product.
