How much time we need to shut off the wavemaker in a day. I have 4 mp40 in my 1000 liters tank

The only time you might want to slow it down to really low level is during feeding. They have a feed mode setting you can program in. Some people use less intensity over night also but it is not mandatory.

Only shutoff should be for feeding. Theyre meant to run continuously however you can lower the speed/flow rate at night and have it ramp up in the morning

The jeabo controllers have a night time setting they reduce flow when the ambient lighting is dim , I have one controller I can’t turn off and every time I shadow it in any way it reduces power .
I hate it …

Makes me think …
Does the ocean reduce flow throughout the day to night ?
Does different tide affect the current around a reef ?

Maybe the penguins from the flat earth build a wall at night to prevent the waves from rolling ?

Ocean tones down to calmer state unless there is a tide, but as you go deeper , there is still movement
