Hi all,
found my snail Artie on his back in the sand the other day; I picked him up and popped him back on the rock, but unlike the very few times I've had to help him out before, the last few days he's just been ending up back in the sand. All parameters are normal, and the other tank inhabitants (two ocellaris clownfish and one cleaner shrimp) are fine; is there anything I can do for the little guy or is he on his way out?

(I assume he's an astrea; he was sold as an astria)

Hello!

Unfortunately, it could just be on its way out. They tend to get preyed on once they flip over and can't right themselves
Thanks for the response - looking closer, I think you're right, his foot seems discoloured, poor bugger. Any chance of him coming back from an injury, or should I think about euthanising?
