I've had this fox face for 3months now and he acts perfectly normal, swimming around with the other fish, very active, and eating bubble algae and nori
but a couple of times a day he will lay down in his side right in the middle of my big zoa bed, and just lay there still for a bit, he has been doing it for a couple months now, if he gets spooked or another fish rubs on him he will instantly get up and start swiming. He doesn't seem to have any swimming problems either. he will never lay on the sand bed or anywhere else, only right in the middle of the zoa bed.
he eats alot and shows no signs of a sick fish besides this, but even this doesn't look like a sick fish, it looks like a comfy spot lol.
and he doesnt do it all day, just like every once in a while, the rest of the day it's normal fish activitys.
PS ALL PICS WHERE TAKEN ON DIFFERENT DAYS. Any idea why he is doing it?
