I’m having a vermetid snail issue in my nano and decided to try some bumblebee snails. I added 10 of them last week. Starting today I picked 6 of them off the byssal opening of one of my derasa clams. They were all attached to one spot and didn’t look up to any good. They are now gone. There are still 4 in there that are in the rocks eating vermetid snails that I left for now. The clam seems unaffected but I’m having no part of that!

Good to know.
I have never had Bumblebee snails but I have considered getting some. I had heard they may not be reef safe.

I was concerned about this before I got bumblebees and consulted multiple people and no one reported any personal issues. I've had a couple dozen in with my clam for over a year now and there's been no issue.

4 of mine don’t seem to care, but those 6 i pulled out did! 😆

Maybe like fish, snails have different personalities too?
