Agreed I have some too. At least we call them that in the hobby I’m pretty sure there’s a more proper term or it’s called something different lol. It’s strange because the amount of scientific info or photos on them seems like nonexistent. It’s all people saying this is what it is and all photos of reef tanks.Hard to see the details, but look up ‘colonial hydroids’ in Google and see if that matches. If so, I recommend manual removal of what you can reach.

Usually they are invasive and fast growing. That being said I have some isolated on a coral colony that haven’t spread but they do multiple quickly and can overtake coral space.Thanks I googled it and it looks they are colonial hydroids.
Why are you suggesting removal? I like them…
