Elegance is my favorite! Only ever kept one and it limped along until it died. . . I won't keep one again until I am more sure I can keep it alive!!!

My favorite are lobophylliid and merulinid brain corals. I also like lobophylliid chalices (+ Mycedium) and the solitary fungiids.

It's an unpopular opinion, but I love my branching GSP! The strain I have barely grows sideways and is almost all vertical!

I thought that was a hydnophora lol, do you have it growing over an old SPS?

There are lots of corals that I like in theory, but the ones I like in reality are the ones that I have had the most success keeping myself: duncas, candy cane, chalice, cyphastrea, leptoseris, favia

In a few months I may have some additions to the list

Nope, It just grows like that!! That's what I thought when I first saw it too. It will encrust a little bit but then just grows up! It's definitely my favorite, I started a tank because of it

I mean I know that GSP are octocorals, though I've never seen that!
