What’s going one with this month?

What’s going on with is monti? The “flesh” is falling off. The larger patch was my own doing with a baster.

My calcium level is 440
Ph is low at 8.2
Ammonia is at 0.25

And the other water parameters at normal level. Although I don’t have a way to test magnesium and alkalinity at the moment..

As a sidebar, my Zoa’s an enemies Hammer corals Duncan and mushrooms are doing good.

My more complex life, inverts and fish are fantastic as well.

def get an alkalinity test kit. i prefer red sea as it has only 2 steps instead of three like salifert but there are plenty of good options.
definitely check at night with a flashlight for monti eating nudis as well.
has flow changed at all or is it low near the monti?
