What algae is this?

Tank is on the newer side I guess, it’s about 4 months old and I did a fallow for 1 and a half months so it’s not too old. Should I use anything yet or just wait? If I wait it would be more natural or I can use chemiclean to take it out right now. What should I do?

If you choose to use Chemi Clean you better read the Directions very carefully!
I think it's Coraline algae myself. Cyano shows up as a mat like dark purplish in color and slimy. Do your research!!

Oh ok, thanks. If I may ask, do you know what the green is called? Or what the bacteria is called? Will it go away once the tank is established?

the bacteria growing on the rocks are a blend of bacteria that are present in sea water, fish, and frags/rocks/sand from other tanks. very likely the bottled bacteria used to start your cycle is what is populating your rock work and sand. and no, it will not go away(unless you dry the rocks and bleach them).

Oh ok, also I have had diatoms for 2-3 weeks and I heard they are supposed to go away but they haven't and they are still appearing when I wipe the glass.

i’d dose phyto(live), and copepods. i’d also buy some nerite, and astrea snails. make sure to flip them back up if the fall off rocks/glass. dosing bottled bacteria can help, too.

I am going to start doing microbacter 7 every week after water change along with calcium carbonate (DIY coral snow). I did phytoplankton every day but stopped since I saw a couple vermetids popping up but it could also be because I had my skimmer off. I will start dosing it again.

coral snow should help with reducing vermetid snails

Hey, so there is now some hair/strings coming from the diatoms nothing big but there were in a good spot and spreading. It is brown hair. Any idea on what it could be

Uglies! Had the same stuff. Brown stringy slimy. Lights off 2 days and dose Microbactor7 for a week and gone!

images 2, 3, and 4 show signs of possible cyano(dino's could also be a potential ID, but the red points towards cyano, and the green of image 4 there are bubbles which are present in cyano/dinos).

images 1, and 2 have what is also likely to be coralline algae. cyano isn't always thick/fuzzy, and starts off thin and gains thickness if unmanaged. OP likely has this occurring due to it being a new tank still which indicates a small imbalance of good bacteria and lots of organics in the water not being pulled out by the skimmer(perhaps from an underperforming skimmer in terms of tank rating/size or incorrect setting- aka skimming wet vs dry, or skimmer water level). feeding less and increasing flow will help clear out the cyano.

Any other ways to get rid of it without turning lights off? I am already dosing Microbactor 1 time per week after water change along with DIY coral snow.
