I’m new to SPS coral and both of these corals have this clear substance starting to build off of them. What is that? Is this new growth or is this what people referred to when they say it’s being burnt?

neither seem to be SPS corals, to me. they seem more like LPS - pectinia. the white you see is likely the skeleton being exposed to due rough handling, with algae starting to grow on it(maybe, can't tell under blue light)

edit: second seems like a montipora digitata, but i'm unsure with the blue light.

If it is pectina, my fish sometimes rub against it and cares the skeleton to be exposed
