I'm getting a good stock of snails today from Reef Cleaners. I don't want to make the same mistake I made previously by putting the CUC (different vendor) directly into the display tank, introducing velvet, and killing off all of my fish.

I have a 30-gallon tub with fresh salt water and some fully-cycled live rock for QT, but no algae, of course.

So - how can I make sure these snails survive QT?

Also - is a 10-min Hydroplex dip safe for snails?

I was going to ask the same question, setting up a qt for cuc on Monday. With now algae in n a fresh qt tank what should I feed them?
