What aqua scape is the best?

Okay so this is my current aquascape I just don’t like it to much i don’t know why it’s just not satisfying enough. So I was wondering if another aqua scape in mind would be better. So I would put 2 of my add rocks side by side in the middle and then put my rock with the frogspawn on top of the base rocks making a little bridge less risky then the one I currently have and then using my other two small rocks as islands? The first picture is my current setup and my 2nd picture is the scape I am going for. What do you guys think

Personally I like the 2nd one. But with time your current one could look good. You can do a zoa garden on one island then a euphilia garden on the other possibly.. Here's my current scape for another idea

Using what you have I would slant the structure on the left so it angles with the purple line. It will help bring a focal point to the tank center and give some front to back depth. I would also consider swapping the spots of the smaller rocks but keeping on the yellow lines like they are so the taller is in back easier for viewing later. The rocks themselves lack in hight compared to the other image you are looking at so there is more negative space in your scape in comparison. If you want it more like that you can add another rock or try to place them flipped another way but also keep in mind the coral you are going to add. If you don't like the space and add a tall coral the illusion will eventually be a taller scape anyway.

Idk if I'm expressing that correctly, but negative space wise to emulate the pic you posted your tank would end about here.. see what happens visually? So, if that's what your going for you want to somehow make the scape taller ;) but it's up to you, I like it but would make the slight changes I mentioned and have something tall that extends almost to the top of the tank in that back right corner.

So do you think this scape will have more room for like euphilias at the bottom and then near the top some SPS and on the island where my goby and shrimp live I could have some zoanthids. Also do you think this scape has lots of follow for water movement through the tank?

That's cool! You definitely have yourself more coral space to work with by slanting instead of vertical surfaces.

There is definitely the potential to do it. As far as zoas definitely, Euphyllia and sps will depend on the specific types and how much they like the light their getting. The levels look kind of close together so there is a chance that as you cater to one species the other may not do as well. I would say it's worth a try. Just keep in mind that Euphyllia can and will send out sweepers and sting zoas and sps when your placing. I have a mix of mainly zoa, Euphyllia, and acros in my tank lol so you hit on all my favorites .

It's up to you, it looks good I was just trying to express why it's visually not going to have exactly the same feel as the pics your referencing. Another option is to leave as is and maybe down the road when your tanks established and your running out of room get one of those magnet rock looking frag racks and place some high light pieces up top to grow out on it ;)

Yeah so a couple of days ago I dragged my birds nest and I placed the frags on my rock scape so I think I will just use this rock as a SPS rock and down below a zoanthid garden

That could potentially work, regrettably we don't know until we try lol so get fragging and start filling that tank. We expect full pictorial updates now ;)
