Original Purple Monster and True Oregon Tort are my favorite classics for sure

Yep those two and the Pink Lemonade for me. And...the cool thing about the classics - we know what they look like after they settle in and grow out. What you see is how they will look in any quality SPS tank.

surprised no one mentioned Setosa but here are the ones I consider timeless classics: Setosa, Echinata, garf bonsai, sunset monti, green slimer, oregon tort, red planet, monti cap (all colors)...

red and purple digitata are up there.

I think Pink lemonade is riding the edge of when we went from "old classics" to "new name everything madness".

Garf Bonsai is one of the oldies but goodies for sure.

Aaaah the classics. Look good in any decent tank, and dont cost seven billion dollars for a 1/2" that will lose its color in shipping and never get it back.

True "classic" SPS? Easy.
1). A Yongei or the Bali Green Slimer
2). The Oregon Tort
3). Montipora Capricornis & Digitada
4). Seriatopora pink birds nest

OLD SCHOOL = classic

I remember that piece well:). I sent Greg a frag of it years ago as I used to call it my blue/green acro. Lol, he gave it a much better name and the rest is history. That acro just positively glowed!
