What are the worst coral pests and why?
What has been yours?

For me, was Aptasia and blessings to my Kleini Butterflies which wiped them out quickly and at 100%. I cant remember the last time ive seen an aptasia

Vermitid snails for me. They can multiple into plague like proportions, irritate everything, and leave you with bloody knuckles when you're monkeying around in the tank.

Blue Clove Polyps are a beast. You can fight them with Fenbendazole but sometimes they come back. If not treated, they will take over your entire tank. Aiptasia was easy to overcome once I had a good solution - Australian Stripey wiped out mine in days and is a great fish for the tank. I've also had monti eating nudi's wipe out a large colony of red montipora ... but once their food was gone so were they and i could add monti's again. The list probably goes on but these are my 3 big ones.

I'm struggling with aiptasia and vermetid snails. I put a dozen good sized berghia in a couple of weeks ago, and have a CBB in quarantine. Hopefully that will keep the aiptasia from getting worse.

I've been going after the vermetids whenever I see their "Nets" out by squirting sodium hydroxide in their openings. I also have a couple dozen bumble bee snails in the tank.

I love blue cloves. My tangs keep eating any cloves I put in
